About Coach Andrew
Hi there! My name is Andrew Rakestraw, and I was a two time state chess champion in 5th and 8th grade. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching chess over the years, and the benefits of playing chess are endless; improves critical thinking, problem solving, memory, pattern recognition, and much more!
I am offering private lessons to anyone who is interested in learning the game of chess. My goal is to teach chess in a style that is fun and educational for individuals of all ages!
